Care Instructions

To maintain the jeans in the best possible colour and condition, we recommend that you dry-clean only (preferably using an eco-friendly method, such as Green Earth Cleaning). If you do wish to wash your jeans, raw denim jeans should not be washed for at least 6 months and any washing after, should be in cold water with the jeans turned inside out. Use a small amount of gentle detergent (non-biological) and then rinse until the water runs clear. There will be colour lost in the first washes and some shrinkage will occur, particularly with raw denim. Do not tumble dry. Reshape when wet and air dry outdoors or in a well ventilated room.

With raw denim, washing cold with salt for the first time should help to fix any loose dye in the fabric. Take care with light coloured clothes, upholstry and leather as indigo dye will transfer for the first few washes.

Shrinkage can be up to 10% with raw denim so if you plan to wash your jeans, even in cold water, make sure you allow for 1 inch of shrinkage at the waist.
